Russia is ready to propose a ready-to-go concept of international competitions the Games of the Future, which include along with classic sport Esports disciplines, such games will be held as early as 2024, said the deputy chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.
“We’ve been discussing for some time the idea of international movement Games of the Future which unite sport, science education and technologies, and they make it possible to develop dynamically traditional sports and at the same time broaden the possibilities of mankind to use modern technologies. The Russian team finalized this idea and today we are ready to propose for discussion a concept ready to be implemented”, – said Chernyshenko at the plenary session of the forum “Russia is a sports power”.
In his words, these international sports competitions combine such disciplines as eSports, technologies of mobility, robot technics, artificial intellect and classic sport with different high-tech elements, Exoskeletons, augmented virtual reality and others. Chernyshenko noted that this is a brand new technological platform.
“Our country was always striving to develop state-of-the-art technologies and was promoting quite actively gaming sports. Therefore, now Russia pretends to create the Games of the Future. And the inaugural games will be held as early as 2024”, — he said.
